The Dog Days Of Summer

The Fourth has passed. Locally it was a delightfully warm day with a surprise rain for the beginning and end of it all. For those of us with pets, a couple of traumatic days and nights have passed with firecrackers and aerial displays to the dismay of our critters. It’s time to slump into the dog days of summer. Take a lesson from them. When it’s hot, rest. Take a nap in the shade. Do only what your body comfortably allows. Have lemonade often. Share popsicles with your friends and pets alike! It’s time to chill!
