International Women’s Day

Today, March 8^th, is International Women’s Day. This date has been set aside globally to honor women, their achievements and their future goals. This year the theme is “Empowerment of Rural Women” & the “Elimination of Poverty and Hunger”.

It is fitting that this date be a part of Women’s History Month. Each March we have a month-long celebration of women and their legacy.  Speaking of legacies, this year also marks the 100^th anniversary of the Girl Scouts; an honorable society and tradition to both the individual and the social circles it encompasses.

Find the best of yourself and share it with a young girl as the guardianship of all women’s futures. It will guarantee the continuity of the feminine spirit.
