Transformation

To transform is to change. In order for the change to take place, there must be a catalyst. The catalyst can be a thought, an interaction or an event that affects you to change. This change doesn’t have to be a genetic anomaly as in sci-fi movies. It doesn’t have to be dramatic as in an action flick. Nor does it have to be in slow motion as evolution itself.

I prefer to think of it as a kind and loving interaction…a hug, a wink, a smile, a longing glance, a kiss. Call me romantic, but when I think of transformations, I go to the master of them all. That’s right, the “King of Romance”…Walt Disney. Nobody illustrates transformations, change through love, better than Walt. Walt Disney has brought us more insight into human nature and the art of transformation than anyone else I can think of.

Through the magic of Disney we view our inner light, hidden potential and triumphs over life’s adversities. We get a little help from genies, fairies and fairy godmothers. Mysterious lights and moon-glow appear. Rainbows and woodland creatures guide the characters as pixie dust and sunbeams wrap around and transform them. A simple kiss will transform a frog into a handsome prince or a wish into a magic carpet ride. In each and every movie, a belief has been challenged, experienced and revitalized. With each challenge, a new life is born. Wonders are created that defy logic.

Transformation…you can’t beat it!
